Philippe Talon, to Sasson list 4 May 2007:<br> I have the sad news of the death of André Finet at the age of 85. He passed away peacefully during the night of May 2nd. There will be no funeral, since he asked that his body be given to science. We lose a great Assyriologist, and I a teacher, a friend, a father.
