Enlil-bâni

Biography of Enlil-bâni

King of Isin (c. 1860 - 1837). He is said to have been installed as a 'substitute king', but survived and took the place of the previous ruler. Several royal hymns were written in his honour (Leick, Who's Who in the Ancient Near East)
