Already in 1949 V.V. Struve was able to show that BIN 5, 262 was the receipt used to write the entry recorded in column 6 lines 17-22 of [[http://cdli.ucla.edu/P106706|BIN 5, 272]], and hence prove the very real nature of the Ur III accounts. In the same study Struve described for the first time the system of //man-days// applied by Ur III scribes to calculate the value of work. (Jacob L. Dahl, University of Oxford)
