etcsl 2.4.1.1 = Q000386: Death of Ur-Namma (Ur-Namma A)

CDLI also includes N 3135.

etcsl 2.4.1.2 = Q000387: A tigi to Enlil for Ur-Namma (Ur-Namma B)

In CDLI, the Penn tablet is given as CBS 15168 (+) N 6876 (+) N 7926 following Civil (Or 54, 33) and Klein (ASJ 11, 45), whereas etcsl numbers the fragments as CBS 15148, N 6879 & N 7926. CDLI also includes 6N-T288 (= IM 61500) following Civil (Or 54, 33). The etcsl list includes Ni 2430 twice.

etcsl 2.4.1.3 = Q000388: Praise poem for Ur-Namma (Ur-Namma C)

etcsl 2.4.1.4 = Q000389: Ur-Namma and the canal-digger (Ur-Namma D)

etcsl 2.4.1.5 = Q000390: A shir-namshub (?) to Nanna for Ur-Namma (Ur-Namma E)

etcsl 2.4.2.01 = Q000395: A praise poem of Šulgi (Šulgi A)

In CDLI there is a quasi-join between CBS 4588 and Ist Ni 4418; CBS 8859 is joined to N 2914 & N 5285; CBS 10993 is joined to N 2479 & N 2482; CBS 13985 is joined to CBS 15149; UM 29-16-198 is joined to N 1519 & N 1572. Etcsl omits the two fragments from UET 6/3: UET 6/1, 79 is joined to UET 6/3, 519; CDLI includes UET 6/3, 520. Etcsl lists NBC 7165 which is presumably intended to be the same as YBC 7165 in CDLI. Etcsl 29-16-214l is presumably intended to be the same as UM 29-16-214i in CDLI. W 16743,bo = VAT 21580. Etcsl has a join between 3N-T902,87, 3N-T907,281 & 3N-T917,372, whereas Heimerdinger (SLFN, p.7) suggests that the latter two are part of the same prism as 3N-T904,156. Etcsl lists the small fragment, 3N-T906,220 as being part of both Shulgi A and Inanna and Ebih. Etcsl notes Hallo's comment (JAOS 83, 173) that in 1963 there were 7 unpublished duplicates of Shulgi A in Yale; presumably some (most?) of these are now included explicitly under this heading. Peterson makes a number of additions and joins of fragments.

etcsl 2.4.2.02 = Q000396: A praise poem of Šulgi (Šulgi B)

In CDLI, CBS 2196 is joined to CBS 2205 & CBS 2293; this tablet is also listed in ETCSL 1.6.2 Ninurta's exploits. In etcsl, the CBS 2809 fragment in CBS 7076+ is presumably intended to be N 2809; there are more fragments included for this tablet in CDLI than listed in etcsl. In etcsl, CBS 17534 should presumably be CBS 1753a. In CDLI, UM 29-16-214G is joined to UM 29-16-408+. Etcsl lists 3N-T300 = A 30203 but, in CDLI, 3N-T300 = A 30215 and it is a lexical tablet, and A 30203 is not listed. In etcsl, 3N-T919,436 should be 3N-T918,436. In CDLI, the fragment N 3312A is joined to UM 29-16-451. CDLI also includes N 2404, N 2841-2482 and N 2844-2848. Peterson makes a number of additions and joins of fragments.

In CDLI, CBS 13668 is listed with a quasi-join to CBS 13689. In CDLI, N 1768 is joined to N 1806, N 3386 & N 3394. And N 6275 is joined to UM 29-15-710. In the CDLI photo, N 2555, N 2643 & N 5996 are joined to CBS 14080. Peterson gives a quasi-join between CBS 8312 + N 3215 and CBS 15301 (+) N 2568+, and also between CBS 15301 and N 2568+ (+) CBS 8312+, and a join between N 5996 and CBS 14080+.

etcsl 2.4.2.04 = Q000398: A praise poem of Šulgi (Šulgi D)

In CDLI: CBS 13298+ also includes CBS 15130 & N 2879; CBS 14071 is joined to CBS 13953 & CBS 14034. CDLI entry suggests that N 1762 does not join to N 1788 and does not have the contents of Shulgi E; also that, N 1788 is part of the same tablet as N 6064 and N 1448 (and possibly N 6720, following Peterson). In CDLI, N 3497 is joined to numerous fragments and is also listed as Shulgi X (UM 29-13-556+). In etcsl, Ni 4519 + Ni 4594, the latter fragment should presumably be Ni 4595 (Ni 4594 is listed under Etcsl 5.3.2 Grain & sheep). Peterson joins CBS 15147 to CBS 13953+.

etcsl 2.4.2.07 = Q000401: An adab to Enlil for Šulgi (Šulgi G)

etcsl 2.4.2.12 = Q000404: A tigi(?) for Šulgi (Šulgi L)

etcsl 2.4.2.14 = Q000406: A lullaby for a son of Šulgi (Šulgi N)

etcsl 2.4.4.2 = Q000423: A balbale to Inanna for Šu-Suen (Šu-Suen B)

etcsl 2.4.4.3 = Q000424: A balbale to Inanna for Šu-Suen (Šu-Suen C)

etcsl 2.5.2.1 = Q000444: An adab to Nergal for Šu-ilīšu (Šu-ilīšu A)

CDLI lists N 2833 as being a part of CBS 7076+, Šulgi B. Peterson joins CBS 14074 + N 7355 + N 7414 and N 7632 (+) N 7642.

etcsl 2.5.2.3 = Q000446: An adab for Šu-ilīšu (Šu-ilīšu C)

etcsl 2.5.3.1 = Q000447: A šir-namursaĝa to Ninsiana for Iddin-Dagan (Iddin-Dagan A)

In the etcsl listing, CBS 15704 should be CBS 15074 (Gerardi OPFK 8, 186). Similarly, 3N-T925,511 should be 3N-T927,511 (Heimerdinger SLFN 020). The etcsl list includes Ni 04334 as a separate fragment but it also appears on P269076 (CBS 14058+, Shulgi R) and P263170 (CBS 8330+, Inanna D); there is evidently an error here somewhere. In CDLI, N 3242 is joined to UM 29-16-091+. CDLI also lists Ist Ni 9621.

etcsl 2.5.3.2 = Q000448: A praise poem of Iddin-Dagan (Iddin-Dagan B)

Etcsl lists RT 16, 187 and 190 as two separate texts but there is no evidence of Iddin-Dagan B on the latter. CDLI also lists the round school tablet PTS 0049. The Uruk excavation numbers W 16743 and W 20248 both represent a large series of tablets and so the etcsl listing is not sufficiently specific; however, Tinney (Iraq 61, 171) gives a clearer listing and adds several round school tablets to the list, also Haddad 156.

etcsl 2.5.3.3 = Q000449: An adab to Ningublaga for Iddin-Dagan (Iddin-Dagan C)

CBS 4563+ is listed in CDLI with additional joins. CBS 15116 is now joined to CBS 13904+ along with a number of further fragments. N 1915 is now joined to N 6268. Shaffer (UET 6/3, p.15) suggests that "it is not at all clear" that UET 6/3, 502 (*182) is part of Ishme-Dagan A+V. For the numbering of the UET 6/3, fragments, see Shaffer.

etcsl 2.5.4.02 = Q000452: An adab to Bau for Išme-Dagan (Išme-Dagan B)

UCLM 9-1914 in the etcsl list corresponds to HMA 9-01914 in CDLI.

etcsl 2.5.4.17 = Q000467: An adab (?) to Nuska for Išme-Dagan (Išme-Dagan Q)

etcsl 2.5.5.1 = Q000481: A praise poem of Lipit-Eštar (Lipit-Eštar A)

In CDLI, N 3023, N 3061 and UM 29-15-435 are part of the same tablet, along with N 2963. N 1572 is now joined to UM 29-16-198+. IB 426 = IM 77862. StrKT 1 = BNUS 321. UET 6 *159 = UET 6/3, 531. Etcsl list omits UET 6/3, 530 & 532. Based on the CDLI photo, the contents of N 6501 seems too slight to be included. Peterson joins CBS 3558 to Ist Ni 9696; and adds N 1759, N 6076, N 6614 & N 7449 to the list. Delnero (Phd thesis p. 1910-1917) adds a number of texts.
