Description: Together with the fragment VAT 7487 the tablet AO 6448 in the Louvre deals with the Babylonian zodiac. Both sides show in their upper part drawings of star constellations, which are labelled. The text contains omens and hemerological predictions. Quite astonishing is a tradition where a certain city, a temple name and the designations for wood and stones are dealt with in tabular form for each constellation of the zodiac.
